The dream of BUSKARAMA is to shine a light on the Emerald City so bright that the world will see the stars on the brick road of Pike Place, and in doing so, great artists from around the globe will sign up for a busking license and join us, if only for a day.
We encourage buskers and music lovers to explore the hidden gems on Western Avenue and Post Alley to experience all that Pike Place Market has to offer. We ask you to imagine what would happen if entertainment and song poured from every corner and we hope to have your support in making this so.
Here is the link to the official sign up for a $35 annual busker permit as well as a map to the 15 busking locations. Daily permits will be available for $10 the day of the event.
The line-up of artists performing at Pike Place Market and as part of our showcase at The Rabbit Box include the legendary Jim Page and Artis the Spoonman, alongside local artists including Alex Rasmussen, Jonny Evergreen, Shanelle Berry, Davin Michael Stedman (co-founder of event and lead singer of The Staxx Brothers), Kyle Ledford, and the band Society of The Silver Cross.
Buskers entertain visitors with music and art on Seattle's main stage. KING 5 camera crew was on hand to capture magical moments during the inaugural BUSKARAMA event on June 15.
