PROGRAMS | Dub Mountain Sound System

Dub Mountain Sound System is a Seattle-based quarterly event, that just may be coming to a city near you.

The night promotes local reggae artists, contemporary Jamaican acts, and the true originators of this Caribbean art form that has changed the shape of World music and global rhythm.

The show is inspired by Davin Michael Stedman's adventures in Kingston, Jamaica experiencing weekly traditions such as Dub Club and Vinyl Thursday.

But the night is also reflective of the impact of reggae & dancehall he witnesses everywhere on this earth he shares his music. 

Every nation has their own iteration of reggae. Nonetheless we must continually honor and invest in the source, which is vital to sharing the authentic tale of reggae to the fans and creators that make reggae music a viable career path for Jamaican youth.

Dub Mountain is doing our part to educate and investigate. We are always searching for new artists and songs to promote to our growing audience.

Dub Mountain Sound System features top selectors, incorporates live performances, and prioritizes promoting fresh new releases.

The Seattle area headquarters of Dub Mountain Sound System is currently Tim's Tavern in White Center.
